This deep red-purple is ideal to be used in light washes or as deeply saturated strokes of colour. It was inspired by the stems and tips of the lleaves and petals of some varieties of protea. This colour tends to be semi-opaque, but is still transparent when watered down. The pigment is rich and earthy, adding a wonderful depth to any paint palette. Although bold on its own, it is also a great addition for combining with other colours.
